JUSTICES’ ASSOCIATION

STRATFORD BRANCH. THE ANNUAT~MEETING. The annual meeting of members of the Stratford' branch, of the Taranaki Justices of the Peace Association was held last night, when there were present : Messrs W. L. Kennedy (in the chair), W. Mdnnes. S. O, North, G. E. Wilson, J. Fredric, K. Ross, and E. parryer. Apologies foil absence were received from, Messrs E. Far tel I nnd H. Trimble. The chairman extended a welcome to the new members, Messrs North and 1 Fredrio.

The report and balance-sheet wore adopted, the chairman congratulating members on the position disclosed by the balance-sheet. ; Mr Kennedy whs re-elected chairman;' and Messrs North, Melnnes, Wilson, Fredrio and Ross were elected to tlie executive. The secretary Avas instructed to writ© to the Eltham branch, asking them to appoint two members to the' executive. Mr N. [B. Fletcher Avas re-elected secretary ,and Mr A, Coleman auditor.
