There, was apparently a last. . minute i ush in forwarding the official nomination paper, for it had not been received hy noon yesterday when the nominations closed. A registered letter * containing the paper wa s received by the Returning Officer at p.m., but was found to b« addressed to “ Dairy Control Board, Election, Wellington’’. The postal officials Itad placed a notification in the Board’s letter box at .the Post Office that a rcgisterea letter had arrived- It was not until later it was discovered that th© hitter should have been addressed to the- Returning Officer, Department of Agriculture. The letter was redirected but received too late. It is understood it is not being accented.
