executive meeting-.. The Executive of the Stratford Progress League met last night when Rev. Canon L. J. Kayll. presided. Also present were : Messrs -N. -H. Moss, E. 0. A. Gaw. R. 1 V- Kaiy, J. A letter was received fromi jthel Secretary of the East Committee of the Egmont Park Board asking for support for an application to the Government asking for the reinstatement- of the grant of £3500 less expenditure for metalling the road to the Stratford Mountain House. It was also aisked that the League appoint a representative tc> the demi t. ation which would approach the Minister of Lands on the subject when he visits Stratford. On, the motion of Mr* Kay seconded by a supporting resolution -Mis carried. / On hke motion of the chairman sec--ondedffoy .Mr N. H. Moss, it was decider Mi- R. Details of the forthcoming annual meeting were Hit cussed at Eireth in committee, and members wer© deputed to bring down reports oni certain matters for to the next executive meeting.
