CHILDREN'S SPORTS

SUCCESSFUL EFFORT. OUTSTANDING DRILL DISPLAY, There were very largo entries for the children's sports held at Victoria Park yesterday, the majority of schools of the Stratford and Whangamomona district being represented. The entries in many events were so large that in some cases as many as six heats had to be run. A feature op the programme was the massed drill display hy 600 pupils from the Technical High School, S. Mary?s School, the Convent and Primary School under the direction of Mr H. iC. Johnson.
