CANCER ATTACKS BABY
GIRL OF TWO DUES. NEW YORK, Dec. 31. It is reported from Sioux City (Iowa) that a two-year-old girl has died of cancer. Physicians are keenly interested in the case, which will he studied carefully. Cancer is popularly supposed'' to develop only in adults. "NOT ORDINARY CANICER." SYDNEY, Jan. 1. Leading Sydney specialists, when the above case was referred to them, stated that in their opinion the child had died not from the ordinary form of cancer, which took such a huge toll on human life, but from a tarcoma, a form of cancerous disease. A case of a child of two dying from ordinary cancer was, a s far as they knew, without parallel, though, of course, it might have been a medical phenomena. - Ordinary cancer seldom if ever occurred in people under 22 years of age, and was really a rarity in people under 30 years. The ease of the two-year-old child dying in Sioux City gave no grounds for fears (bat the disease was spreading to children, hut was of interest only from a medical standpoint.
