SAMOAN TROUBLES
MAU PARADES STREETS. APIA. STORES BOYOOTTJSD; (By lladio—Special to Perss Assn.). APIA, January 26. The latest development of the Man is a boycott of storekeepers • throughout Samoa- A hundred uniformed Mau men, carrying big sticks, paraded Apia streets and prevented Samoans patronising Apia, stores. The police Lave war lied the Mau that the action is illegal and further developments are expected. The failure of Gurr to leave Samoa, within the 30 days has rendered him liable to arrest. His parole was granted on the condition that he kept out of Apia, communicated with no natives and left by the Tofua for New Zealand in February. 'Gurr announced that he was settling in American (Samoa., but $lO American Governor has announced that Gurr will not he allowed to land there.
