FIRE IN DYE WORKS

IRON LEFT SWITCHED ON. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, Monday. At 9.30 this evening, an electric iron left switched on caused a fire in the pressing room of a city dye works owned and managed by Mr 11. Halliday. There was no damage to the machinery or fittings, hut a quantity of customers’ effects on hand for cleaning was destroyed. These, however, were completely covered by insurance.
