MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. The management committee of the Taranaki Rugby Union met at New Plymouth on Saturday when Mr J. McLeod presided. Sundry players who were ordered off in matches were cautioned. It was stated that the cost of the southern tour was approximately (£593. The balance-sheet of the Te Ante College match showed that the gioss .gates were £353 14s and the expenses £l4O Os 2d, the item s being advertising £4 10s, programmes £1 12s 6d, entertainment £2l 17s Id, accommodation (New Plymouth) £52. 4s, •fares arid accommodation en route £43 12. s 6d, ground rent 12j per cent, off gross gate, but the Sportsground "Committee agreed to accept half (£22 2s 6d). Thi s left a balance of £207 13s lOd to be handed to the unemployment Committee. The New Zealand Rugby Union 'forwarded a revised itinerary of the list of trial matches for the eslection of the All Black team for South Africa, due to the earlier departure of the team from New Zealand on May 4 next. The Taranaki-Wanga-nui v. Wellington-Manawhenua match will take place at Wanganui on Wednesday, September 21. It was decided to agree _ to the suggestion of the Wanganui Union that the combined team should play in their colours, royal blue.
