TOKO ROTES

The revue “High Jinks,” which was produced by members of the Kormanby Tennis Club in the Coronation Hall on Thursday evening, wag much appreciated by the large audience. As each item was run of the appreciation was shown with hearty applause. Especially good were the solos given by Miss Marjory Mills. The entertainment, which Was run in aid of the Toko Domain, will show a profit of between £2 and £3. Rev. Fletcher, president of the Normanby Tennis Club, in a short speech, thanked all for their attendance, and also apologised for three performers who were absent on account of sickness. Mr W. H. Were, chairman of the Domain Board, thanked the Normanby Club for their coming io Toko and assisting the Board who arc at present spending a good sum of money ’in making improvements. After the programme was concluded, the local ladies supplied supper ’foi" the performers, for whom Rev. Fletcher returned thanks.
