She was last seen by the baker on January 15. GAS POISONING. AUCKLAND, This Day. Robert Emmett was found dead in his lodgings, a pipe connecting the gas meter being cut. The room was filled with gas. Evidence was given at the inquest that deceased was a plumber, aged about 64. The verdict was suicide by gas poisoning. MOTOR COLLISION. CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. About 12.30 this morning a man named Joe Robinson while, riding a motor cycle at the intersection of Cashel Street and East Belt, came into collision with a motor car. Robinson, who sustained bead injuries and fractured left ankle, was admitted 1o the hospital seriously injured.
