TOTAL I SATO R FIGURES LIST OF WINNING OWNERS. The investments on the totalisator for the meeting amounted to £56,034, compared with £60,748 at last meeting. In view of yesterdays' heavy rain it was considered doubtful if all the motor cars could be safely driven from the parking area, and to meet emergencies a team of horses was held in readiness, but their services were not required.

T. Tito was the most successful jockey, riding three winners. A. McCormac and I. Mepham rode two each, and T. Bound, G. Holland, C. France, L. George, H. Gilmer, N. Johnson, H. K. Alexander, J. Monckley and G. C. Young one ep^h. Among the trainers, J. Fryer wera) was most successful, leading in four winners. N. Cunningham (Ellerslie), R. McMiken (Matamata) and E. George (New Plymouth) led in two, and J. F. Butler (Stratford), T. George (Ellerslie), R. Johnson (New Plymouth), A. J. Shearsby (New Plymouth), H. I. Spinks (Paeroa) and J. Brown (Hawera) one each.
Of the sires Some Boy 11. was represented by three winners (Modest Boy twice and Baby Bun), Livciftlus (Rehutai and Billikins), and Tree Lucerne (Tip Tree twice), by two winners, and Kilbey (Blend), <salmint (Royal Mint), Ciceroi (Oration), Day Comet (Always), Rangitira (The Swell), Campfire (Closefire), Taumaha (Lady Anstruther),' Glenalbyn (Glencairn), and Elysian (Bevis) by one each. Following are full details of the last race on yesterday's programme: COUNTY HACK HANDICAP I BEVIS 1 II ORCADES 2 3 SOVENA 3 5 GRAND LUPIN 4 Also ran: 4 Branson, 10 Bent, 2 Manly, 3 Macroom, 7 Blue Peter, 6 Maveelish, 12 Winsome Boy. A neck and a length. Time, lmin 24 sec. From the barrier Macroom, Maveelish and Bent got away first, but a moment later Orcades and Branson came into line and the order was Bevis, Orcades, Macroom, Maveelish, Manly, Grand Lupin, Bent and Branson. Bevis held to the lead, running well, with Orcades keeping him' close company. Manly moved into second place, with Grand ' Lupin lying almost level, Maveelish being two lengths behind, with Bent a little further back. As they came into the straight and started or. the home run Bevis led from Orcades, Bent and Grand Lupin, with Sovena coming up rapidly, but too far to affect the result. Grand Lupin was also finishing strongly. Bevis cleared the post with Orcades on his flank, a neck behind, and Sovena a length behind, third. Then came Grand Lupin, Bent and Branson, with the others well out of it/
