PLUMIET SHIELD MATCH
WELLINGTON, December 2?.. Considerable interest attaches To the Plunket Shield match, Otago v. Wellington. The Wellington team appears to be the mOst solid combination Mr K. Tucker lias put in the field for some seasons, while the southerners are also a particularly strong side. There is every prospect of the match producing some heavy scoring, while a close and interesting finish is expected. Dickenson's appearance is looked forward to with special interest, likewise that of Blunt and Blaroires. The match will be played to a finish.
The Wellington team will come from the following 12 players: Brice (captain), Hiddleston, Lowry, Worker (Hawke's Bay), Dempster (Wanganui), Kortlang, James, Lambert, Hollings, Badcock and Henderson.
