AMERICAN FLEET VISIT.
COMMEMORATIVE TABLET. Per Press As3ooiation. ROTORUA, October 15. Last night the Hon. Bolard presented the Avawa tribe with a handsome bronze tablet commemorative of the American fleet's visit, sent by Admiral Robinson and officers of the iieet. The Minister took occasion to refer to the coming visit of the Duke and Duchess Of York and trusted the Arawas would give him a royal reception. He gave a sympathic hearing to various of his guests' requests and was accorded a very hearty vote of thanks by the assembled natives.
