The Isle of Man senior tourist , motor trophy was won. by • Stanley Woods in 3hr s 54min 39 4-ssec at an average of 67.54 miles per hour, a new full course record tor the 264 miles. < . : Next came Handley, 3hrs 59nui( 0 2-osec, Langmau 4hrs 0 1-osec, , Craig 4-hr.s 44miu 7scc. ( Simpson put Up a second lap r °- i cord of 32inin 9sec. an average speed . of 70.43. . , . ! Moller, New Zealander, retired in the fifth lap owing to engine trouble. Altogether thirty retired from fifty- i seven starters. There were many crashes, but nothing worse than slight concussion is reported.
