RESIGNATIONS ACCEPUTED. Press Association—Copyright, Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received 10.15 a.m.) WARSAW, June 20. The President has accepted the resignation of Szeptycki, also the resignation of General Haller, commander of the Pasen array corps, a prominent opponent of Pilsudski, who was hostile to the recent coup d etat in Warsaw. A cablegram last week stated; General Szeptycki, ex-Chief of General Staff, refused to shake, hands with M. Skrzynski because the latter did not shelter him against Marshal Pilsudski’s personal attack. The friction resulted in a duel. Both nood back to back, advanced 11 paces and wheeled. Szeptycki fired and missi i, whereupon Skrzynski threw down his pistol, saying; “When I pull the trigger I always hit the target. I refuse to kill you. If anyone else in Poland believes he is justified in shooting me, he’s welcome.’’
