HOCKEY.
VISIT OF AUSTRALIAN TEAM. Per Press Association. Wellington. July 15. An Australian team of hockey players arrived frrtm Sydney by the Moeraki this incoming, and left for Palmerston North, where they meet Mariawatn this afternoon. A member of the team expressed the opinion that The present combination was a.s strong, if not stronger, than the last Australian team. The trip over had b/jeu rough, most of the unbere of 'the team being seasick.
