INFANTILE PARALYSIS.

PENSIONS FOR VICTIMS. WHANGA COUNCIL DECISION. At Monday's meeting of the Whangamomona County Council, a circular letter from the Runangu Borough Council asked that support be accorded a resolution passed by that body advocating pensions for victims of infantile paralysis. Roberton, while sympathetic towards the victims of infantile paralysis, could not isee that they -were more entitled to pensions than those of other diseases. It was decided to receive the letter.
