HARRoPS LTD; STRATFORD. Phone 6 Box 30. R. SIDDKLLS, Manager,

Last Saturday while a Stratford resident was driving on the main road near Waverley ho noticed a motor car being rescued from a gully into which it had fallen on the previous night, hie informed a “I’ost” reporter to-day that the facts as he received them were that a new Bnick car driven by Mr Bell, of Wakamara, cam© into collision with another car owing to the brilliancy of the head lights blinding the driver at the time. The back portion of Boll’s car was struck, the impact tearing the tyre off, and causing the car to go over the embankment, then somersaulting three times and landing on its wheels. Fortunately no one was hurt, which was rather marvellous, as the drop was about 40 feet to the bottom of the gully.
