A gas tube, connected with a gas burner, which was turned on, was found near the body. wa s apparently in her usual health in the morning. LABORER'S FATAL FALL. Auckland, October 28. Alf. George Lambert, a laborer, was killed through a fall from a ladder at a building in course of erection at Anzac Avenue. He was standing on the ladder about eight feet from the ground when he overbalanced, striking his Jiea.d on. the ground, and apparently dislocating his neck. Death occurred in a few minutes.
