The first match for uhie Buttons iji the Stratford Club was won by Smart Bros. . A progressive pairs tournament was played by the Eltham Bowling Club on Labor Day, J. W. Harrison and W. Bicheno being the winners.

McDonald (s), C. Thompson, Moore, Siddell, W. McDonald (s). Mcllroy, Carman, J. C. Allen, G. Smart (a), Finlay, Martin, Peebles, Lyons (s). Cars leave Post Office at 1.30 p.m. Players unable to make the trip are requested to inform the secretary, Mr Carman.
