Tlic prospects of an overseas Rugby League team being invited to the United Kingdom next season are apparently not over bright. Several wellinformed League commentators declare that applications both from Australia and New Zealand will be turned down. The Athletic News, commenting on the council’s peculiar attitude and want of sympathy with the Dominions’ desires, suggests that clubs should petition the council pointing out that a colonial visit would be welcome.
