Motor cycle races were Held at Arawa Park racecourse to-day, 3000 spectators being present. The weather was fine and the track good. Results:—
Arawa Park G miles (seven laps to the mile). —Goodwin (30sec) 1, Coleman (scr) 2. Arnett (3Qsec) 3. Time, 6min 20 l-ssec. Geyser Handicap (8 miles). — Shakespeare (65sec) 1, Coleman (scr) 2, Curtis (05sec) 3. Time Bm in 14 l-ssec.
•\loki Handicap (12 miles).— O’Brictn (SX3soc) 1, Shakespeare (35sec) 2, Coleman (scr) 3. Time, llmin 20 3-sseo.
Middleweight Championship (10 miles). —Moller 1, Coleman 2, Managh 3. Time lOmin lOsoc. Coleman with a great effort secured the lead in the tenth lap, losing control in the last round. Hot Lakes Handicap (G miles).— Dowo (ssec) 1, Arnott (lOsec) 2, Jones (30sec) 3. Time, Gmin ISsce. Won by, half a wheel at the post.
