SEAMAN OFF THE SUSSEX. BIG HAUL OF THE DRUG. Per Press Association. Wellington, September IG. ' Chevene, a member of the crew of the steamer Sussex, was arrested oil the wharf with four tins of opium, on him. A search of his cabin revealed ''B more tins of opium valued at £IOOO, and is said to be the largest haul made in New Zealand. ,As the Sussex has already visited Auckland, it is believed that some of the drug was probably disposed of there.
