The Director-General of Agriculture has received information from the High Commissioner to tbe effect thaht despite the fame which Jersey cattle attained throughout the world, a resident of Jersey told the Commissioner's office that the people in the Island use New Zealand butter, whicn was sold in every shop. Local butter was said to be scarce and not very good.
