OBITUARY
Mr ChristopTier Leek, ex-Mayor of Newmarket, ciJTed at his residence at Remuera, aged 7 years.
Another of Auckland's old residents passed away on Wednesday in the person of Mi ' Andrew Bruce Fordyce, at the age of 95. Bonr at Unst, in the Shetland Islands, in 1830, Mr Fordyce had 'lived under the reign of four Sovereigns. The death of Mr G. C. Sago, ai , well-known resident or Hawera for : about 20 years, occurred on Saturday night, Mr Sage being in his Hist year. The death occurred in the .Stratford Hospital on Sunday of Master Cecil Eustace, son of Mr and Mrs H. Eustace, of Pembroke Road, after an illness lasting some months. Deceased, who was about seventeen years of age, was for a time employed at Messrs- Kleeman and Bishop's Ford Agency, Stratford, and was popular among his fellows. He interment will take place at Kopuatama Cemetery on Tuesday afternoon. Friends of Mr A. McGregor and family will learn with regret of the sudden death at her home in Mir-> anda Street, Stratford, of Mrs McGregor, during Saturday night. Mrs McGregor retired to rest about ten o'clock on Saturday night in her usual state of health, and when her daughter entered her room on Sunday morning with a cup of tea, she found that her mother had passed away. Mr McGregor was not at home, being at work in the Huiakama district. An inquest was held at the Courthouse 'this afternoon. The funeral will leave the Hospital for the Kopuatama Cemetery on Tuesday afternoon at 2.15.
