(Received) 8.55 a.m. > n ; / Sydney, July 19. _ One of the clauses in the Fair Rents Bill now before Parliament provides that no one shall refuse to let a house to any respectable and responsible person because the applicant has a child or children, under a penalty not exceeding £SO. Boriuses for securing a tenancy, pr payment for furniture or any other article in order to secure a tenancy, is also forbidden.

The Bill debars anyone advertising or instructing the agent for a house not to be let to anyone with child*ren. " .... ’
