The Chairman reported that satisfactory arrangements have been made to purchase an area of land, approximately three acres, which will make a very satisfactory addition to the motor paddock. It was resolved that the matter of finalising the arrangements bo left in the hands of a subcommittee consisting of Messrs Pitt, Abraham and Kirkwood. The subcommittee was also instructed to attend to the matter of fencing. Improvements to west end: Under date of the 29th April, Mr Horner reported that the contractor has made good progress with' the work, and is now engaged finishing off. The number hoard has been removed to the new site.

To meet the requirements of the New Zealand Pacing Conference in the matter of disposal of assets in th 0 event of Club winding up, a draft rule has been .submitted for approval. Recent correspondence re District Clubs' representative to the New Zealand Pacing Conference was received. It was resorted that a copy of the inward and outward correspondence Bth to 14th April bo forwarded to tlio President of the Conference and that attention be directed to the existing conditions.
