Tlie monument lately erected in the Manaia Cemetery by the Returned Soldiers' Association is a solid and handsome piece of work (reports the Witness). It is in the form of a marble cross standing on a concrete base, and bears the inscription, "In Memory of our fallen comrades." The plot, which is enough to allow of further interments, is enclosed by a low concrete wall. Sugar of milk 1/6 lb.
