ACT OF DEMENTED MOTHER. LOVE’S MADNESS. Per Press Association. Thames, November 24. Early this mornng a doctor was summoned to the house of T. Bennett, and found the son nine years of age lying on a. bed Avith seveio wounds on the scalp, the skull being fractured. His mother, Avho has been in a failing state of health for some years, states that someone was going to take the child and dll u*o him, so she (Totermiued to kill him and end his suffering. The child was removed to hospital in a serious condition. The Woman Avas taken to the hospital detention Avard.
