THE PUKEMIRO DISPUTE. Per Press Association. Wellington, October 8. . In a statement to-day, Mr Arbuclde, of ths MinerL'! Federation,, states that kfore the owners' executive came to a d2c.isiori.to withdraw the offer to refer the Fukemiro dispute to the National Disputes Committee, they wer e informed that th© Pukemiro Union \va s bound to agree "to the proposal. The Federation or the union would not agree to Saturday's offer. Tlie owners were merely attempting to smash the Federation, by keeping the disputes going, arid refusing to abide by the national: agreement. He accused the owners of withdrawing the offer from the Disputes, Committee as soon as. they saw it would be accepted. Sfcop-work meetings would be held by all the .unions'next Wednes"ttey"to decide the future course of action. ~ , ~..•;
