Fleming Russell., twenty-four years of age, and single, a farm assistant residing with his parents at Milburfc, was riding along the Henley-Berwick Road last night on a motor, cyclo when lie collided with a trap. He. was killed outright. Deceased was. a son of Mr T. H. Russell, a! member ■!' the Otago Harbor Board.' : •-'
A burning accident at Pfroiigin yesterday morning resulted in serious injuries to Mrs Parsons, the wife of a settler. She is in indifferent health, and occupied a room adjoining that of her husband who, at two o'clock this morning, was awakened by her calling. He found the room ablate, and with 'difficulty carried heir to the verandah, and subsequently checked tli«; fire. She has been Unconsc'ons n'l day, and her xoridition is critical. '*
