GALLIPOLI EXPEDITION.

PRAISE FROM BRITISH PRESS.

Press Association—Copyright. (United Service. 1 London, November 3

The Observer says that the immortal dead on Gallipoli have been vindicated. Australia, New Zealand, Britain, and India realise that the heroes of 1915 wrought better than has hitherto been recognised. The Gallipoli expedition was the best holding force in Europe. In proportion to its strength, it inflicted more damage than any other force and did more to melt down the strength of the Turks than all the lighting since. It was one of the greatest adventures of the British race.
