Last Saturday my usual weekly sale was held, when there was a fair entry of poultry, furniture, and sundries. There is a splendid demand for fowls and ducks, cauliflowers and vegetables of every kind, I quote as follows:—Hens 2s 3d to 4s 3d, ducks 2s Gd to 4s Gd, turkey hens 6s to 7s, cockre Hr Is 3d to 3s Gd, potatoes practically unprocurable, 15s cwt., bacon factory Is- 3d lb, su'perphosate £9 5s ton, basic super £8 15s, turnip and root manures, swede seed, Algerian oats prices on application.
