“UNTIL THEY OUT MB."
Charlie Chaplin in the laughtermaking, story of “The 'Adventurer” delighted a big crowd this afternoon at the King’s Cinema, and will do so again to-night. The delightful acting of Paulino Stark as Margy m “Until They (let Me” is an outstanding feature. In fact her work is so remarkable that she was instantly hailed by the critics as “a newcomer of uncommon promise” and compared with Rao Marsh and Bessie Love. She first appears as an ill-used wail who drudges for a family which gives hor a so-called home for wages Here she helps an outlaw to escape and runs away with him. Later they part. She falls in with the North West Mounted Police, is adopted by the Sergeant’s wife and devcops into a vivacious and charming young woman who loves and is loved by a. young trooper. This trooper, to re trieve a past blunder, has sworn to capture the outlaw whom Margy had assisted and Margy hy accident reveals that the outlaw comes to see his little son on the 6th September “every year until they get me.” It is then the fateful day, the bth September, and a stern conflict between love ami honour onsu-'s. On Monday the notable “Alias Mrs Jessop” -will be screened.
