THE KING'S CINEMA.
A MORMON MAID
Mormonisni, as practised by the disciples of John Smith, in Utah, is the background of "A Mormon Maid," to-night's feature film at the King's . Cinema, in'which Mae Murray is starred Mormon life is pictured, from the flights westward of Smith's followers, to picturisations of their strange beliefs and customs. An insight into the practices of Mormonisni is given by depicting the covetous spirit of one of the Elders of the daughter of a pioneer who has come under the Mormon influence. Recently the Eton. Simon Bamberger, Governor of Utah, U.S.A., endeavored to stop the screening of A Mormon Maid in Australia, but the censorship officials had already passed the film and could see no reason for revising their decision. The eighth episode of " The Secret Kingdom" entitled " Rum Cay." and the latest Gaumont Graphic will be screened in addition, —*.«***
