PARTICULARS OP ADVANCE. (Received 12.10 p.m.) London, February 21. An official message states; Our advance eastward-of Jerusalem was resumed yesterday and despite heavy rain storms in difficult country, anu the enemy’s obstinate resistance, wo progressed three and a half miles on the front of Jerico. Simultaneously we advanced a mile on a front of four miles westward oh,the Jerusalem-Na-blus road. The air, ( service co-operated and bombed the caliip and depots ten and a-half miles cast and north-east of Jerico: Our losses on Tuesday were the slightest, hut yesterday s have not yet been reported. The operations continue.
