TREATMENT OF ALIENS.
I A correspondent of the Wellington Evening Post signing himself l under the above heading;—Sir, “Naturalised” writes as follows l —As a naturalised subject ji on the island, although some of us are married to British women. No matter wiiere we go for a day’s work
to support our wives and families the doors are slammed in our faces. No bread is allowed for our little ones; we are laughed at and insulted by all we meet. Therefore internment is the safest an.d best place for us,' and the Government must provide for onr wives ‘and families without exception, and without special treatment for a favoured few.
