To witness the rugby match at Northampton 5000 were present, when the Australian Headquarters scored 16 against the New Zealand Field Artillery 3. At Swansea 6000 witnessed the New Zealand Field Artillery defeat South Wales by 8 to 5. At Cardiff there was a record war crowd. The New Zealanders scored 14 against Cardiff’s nil.
