There conk! be no more enthusiastic bowler than t,li» genial "George" Smart, a member.of that smart set ol bowlers of the .same family known throughout the length and breadth of Taranaki. He is not the worst of them all the time, be it said, as has been proved on the occasion of many a hard-fought and victorious match, and he never seems to tire of playing the game. The mere statement of his programme for the nest month will convince the most sceptical that "George" ie a howler from the soles of his shoes and the bottom of his white pants to his blue blazer and the top of the white slouchv hat protecting his "thatch" from losing any more of its color. But that is a pen-; picture known to all local devotees in' the art of wooing "Kitty." Here is the'itinerary for the "only decent; holiday" for the past six years: On; Wednesday he. plays at Wanganui withj T. C. Fookes, W. Hams. R. MeK. Morison, G. Smart' (s) and returns on| Saturday nigbt if not in the final, but' should the latUM- interesting event! take place, he will not be back till!
