HE DUNNO WHERE ’E ARE ! ALLIES’ ULTIMATUM FLOUTED. ROYALISTS SIDE WITH GERMANY
Press Association-Copyright, Ausfr'v lian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received 12.35 p.m.) Loudon, December 21. Lord Cecil, in the House of Commons, says no ultimatum was sent to Greece since 14th December. Thus Greece accepted, and she is carrying out the demands as far as he was aware. The Daily Telegraph’s Piraeus correspondent says the reported transportation of the 35th Regiment rrma Corinth is untrue, as only two companies have gone. Greece has no intention of carrying out the ultimatum, and will use the subterfuge of dilatoriness to defeat the Entente’s object. Officcre and other Royalists openly speak of siding with the Germans. Reservist leagues have demanded the continued imprisonment of the Venizelists, and the cessation of the transportation of troops until the situation clears.
