ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
WIDOW LOSES THREE CHILDREN Per Press Association. Hamilton. December I. While catching tadpoles at a vvatorhole at Waharoa yesterday, Thelma and Adelaide Hill, aged ten and seven respectively, fell into the water. Their brother Louis, aped eight, tried to rescue them, hut all three were drowned. Their mother, Mrs George Hill, is a widow. MOTOR CAR CAPSIZES. At about 10.20 on Saturday night (reports the Eltham Argus), an accident, which fortunately was not attended with t'nial results, occurred lu :i car while proceeding up Burke's 11:11 The car owned and driven by Mr 11. J Nairn, uas b< ing driven up Burke's IHlill homewards- It appears that when rounding a sharp turning in the road the car caps'y.ed, throwing the occupants in all directions. Tin* other occupants of the ear were .Mrs R. .J. Nairn, her four (laughters, Florence, Violet, Daisy and Flora also Mrs Nairn junr. and her infant daughter. .Mi's H. J. Nairn suffered a broken wrist; and her daughter, Florence, was severely cut about the face and received minor bruises. The rest of the pirty escaped with shock and slight aurasions. Mrs It. J. Nairn and her dav.gktei Florence were taken to Dr. Cooper's private hospital, where their injuries were attended to. That no fatal consequences attended the accident was indeed miraculous.
