Regimental Q.M.-Sergeant King returned to Trentham Camp by this morning’s train. ■'*l •' M. Hathaway was re-elected chairman of the Stratford County Council at the annual meeting held to-day. The Rev. Morgan Richards, of the Tamaki-Howick Church, Auckland, has been extended a call by the congregation of the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, New Plymouth. Ihe Rev. E. L. Harrie, vicar of Inglewood, who has been staying in Stratford** for the past few days returned to Inglewood by this morning’s train. Mr E. H. Thomas, managing cleFk for Messrs Rutherfurd, Macalister and Coleman, on the motion of Mr A. H. Johnstone, was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court by Mr Justice Chapman at yesterday’s sittings. At the Confirmation Service at Holy Trinity Church on Monday evening, forty candidates were presented for confirmation, the ceremony being performed by the Bishop of the Q-iocese (Rev. Dr. Aver ill). The Rev. U W. Howard (Vicar) and Rev. E. L. Harvie (Vicar of Inglewood) assisted at the service.
