WAR RELIEF ASSOCIATION

TO-DAY’S MEETING. An executive meeting of the Taranaki Provincial War Relief Association was held at Stratford to-day. Present i Messrs J. G. Wilson, chairman (New Plymouth), Beckbessinger (North Taranaki), Percival (Inglewood), Fleming (Pa tea), McPhillips (Manaia). Dunn (Farmers’ Union), W. P. Kirkwood (Strtford), T. B. Crump (Eltham), and J- McMillan, secretary. Prior to the executive meeting, a general meeting was. held, at which Messrs L. B. Grimstone (Eltham), and Lq Fleming (Manaia), were present, tc adopt the amended rules of the Asso ciation. The Under-Secretary Department oi Internal Affairs! wrote stating that the amended and extended rules of the Taranaki Provincial War Relief Association had been examined and. were quite satisfactory. Continuing, the writer -said-: -llpon . . the rides as now submitted and approved being confirmed at the meeting of your Association 'on the 12th inst., if you will forward, a copy in duplicate together with the copy of the confirming resolution, incorporation will be duly constituted; The Chairman moved the adoption ol the' Association’s rules as amended. Seconded by Mr, Kirkw'ood and carried. EXECUTIVE MEETING.
