*»- THE ITALIAN CAMPAIGN. The High Commissioner reports : London, June 17 (11.55 a.m.) The Italian encounters with the enemy were successful alon gthe whole front". Particular importance is attributed to the action in the Monte Nero zone by the alpine troops, to whom were entrusted the task of dislodging the enemy from the ambushes on the mountain side. The operation began at night, with .the daring and difficult climbing of rocks, and ended at* daybreak with an impetuous attack, which was crowned with complete success. Up to the present we have made 350 prisoners, including 1-1 officers, and more are coming in.
