MIDHIRST NOTES.

A pretty wedding was solemnised at St. Bride’s Anglican Church, Otorahanga, during March, by Rev. Piggot, when -Air Thomas Palmer, of Honikiwi, was united to Miss "N iolet Walker, youngest daughter of Mr A. Walker, of Midhirst, Taranaki. The bride was charmingly dressed in a white silic dress with mob cap, and was attended by Miss 0. Budden as bridesmaid. The bridegroom was supported by Mr W; Battery as best man. The bridesmaid was presented by the bridegroom with a beautiful gold and sapphire brooch. The happy couple left in the afternoon on a honeymoon trip to Feilding, and on their return will take up residence on Mr Palmer’s Honikiwi property.
