THE TIDES
High water at New Plymouth today at 1.26 p.m.; to-morrow high water will be at 1.30 a.m., and 1.55 p.m. EXPECTED ARRIVALS. Pukaki, from South, Wednesday. Comma, from South, Wednesday* Rarawa from North, Thursday. Mapourika, from South, Thursday. H. D. Bendixsen, schooner, left Puget Sound October 8, due New Plymouth middle of December.
The Karamu is still bar-bound at Croymouth, and it is unknown when she will get away for New Plymouth, via Onehunga, with a load of coal. The Pukaki left Wellington at 5 a.m. yesterday morning, and is expected to arrive early this morning with 558 tons of general cargo. The Corinna left Wellington at 5 p.m. yesterday and is expected to arrive some time to-day. The vessel will remain till Monday, when she will sail for Welington with dairy produce.
