THE PRICE OF GOODS. United Pbebb Association, (Received 10.5 a.m.) Melbourne, December 9. Mr Elmslie moved condemning the Government for suspending the determination of the Price of Goods Board. The debate was adjourned. GENERAL. Sydney, December 8. Mr Holman urges Mr Fisher to communicate with the Bank of England, with a view to create Australia’s credit in London, by gold deposits here, on similar lines to Canada’s arrangements. The Commission refused the manufacturers’ request to increase the price of sugar to £25 per ton.
