At the Government House at Woll ng. ton, this second day of November, 1914 Present: His Excellency the Governor in Counci' WHEREAS it is deemed expedient; to approve the Stratford Loan and Deposit Company (Limited) as an institution for the purpose of section three of the Trustee Amendment Act, 1914: Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the su'd Dominion, doth hereby approve the said Stratford Loan and Deposit Company (Limited) as an institution with which subject to the provision of tho said Act. it shall he lawful for a trustee unless expressly forbidden by the instrument (if any) creating tne trust to invest any trust funds in his hands on deposit at interest.
