"UNFLINCHING DETERMINATION." THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND MEN IF NECESSARY. PREMIER'S STIRRING SPEECH. United Press Association. (Received 8.40 a.m.) Ottawa, December G. Mr Borden, at the Empire Club, Toronto, said Canada had an unflinching determination to see the war through to the end at the side of the Motherland and the other Dominions. Canada was prepared to despatch three hundred thousand, more men if necessary. He did not expect that the war would end until Germany was exhausted. The Empire's existence depended on the outcome. Canada was unflinchingly determined to fight to the last man.
