HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. A selection of splendid biograph fiims will be screened to-night, iiicluoing the big war pictures, "Our Japan-" e.se Allies,'' the men who took Tsuigtao. This is a splendid picture, showing every branch of the Japanese army. The star play, "The Mysterious Case," is a thrilling drama in three parts, by the Nordisk Company. "Retribution" is a patlietic story of a country girl and an artist, "in the Valley of Jonte" is a Bathe scenic of glorious splendour. The Bathe Gazette includes some scenics from world's events. .The comedies in the programme are: "A Luoky Visi; s '" and "A Water Bog." To-night Mr Will Diamond will sing "It's a Long Way to Tipperary," the song the British troops sang whilst marching to the front. The song will be rendered with special orchestral accompam rienfc. On Thursday, November 26th, the New Plymouth Operatic Society will produce this brilliant and sparkling opera in the Town Hall, Stratford. Tfie Society have been rehearsing hard now for the past two months, and have now all the parts linked up and are ready to appear before the pub. iic, and the Stratford people will have the first opportunity of witnessing this delightful opera with its many pretty songs, quaint dances, brilliant new scenery, and pretty effects. The box plan will open on Saturday morning next at Mr T. Grubb's music depot.
